  • Consult with the Client to determine and  agree upon the goals,     direction, timeline and budget ofproject

    • Request concept photographs to ensure clear graphic direction

  • Obtain as-built drawings from client, architect or third party. Sparrow will manually generate drawings when appropriate.

  • Prepare preliminary space plan

  • Compile initial selections of finishes, fixtures,    millwork, hardware,    furnishings, window treatments, art and accessories

  • Prepare detailed floor plans and furniture plans

  • Prepare dimensional drawings of specialty designed built-in units or other items based on approved concepts.

  • Finalize the selection  of finishes, fixtures,  millwork, hardware,  furnishings, window treatments, art and accessories.

  • Prepare specification books for contractors

  • Contractor bid and timeline review for thoroughness and accuracy

  • Frequent site visits to ensure proper implementation of design.

  • Review sub-contract shop drawings

  • Ensure items are received in good condition and installed correctly 

  • Obtain pricing and freight quotes from approved vendors

  • Prepare detailed item proposals for purposes of purchasing

  • Place purchase orders and track order progress.

  • Supervise work away site, such as custom designed furniture.

  • Coordinate receiving, storage and delivery of all items  ordered

  • Coordinate phased or single installation based on item status

  • Supervise installation at site

  • Final walk-through to identify any remaining items that require attention

  • Provide care and maintenance information for finishes, furnishings and equipment
